Oddly enough, and this is very strange, after an update to iTunes, iTunes began to perform strangely, like it sometimes won't respond right away to mouse clicks or keyboard shortcuts. Currently my iMac has been running for about a month straight without crashing, needing to restart, or even slowing down one bit, and I've been running resource intensive applications such as Ableton Live along with a slew of software synth plu gins, and the Netbeans IDE and the Eclipse IDE. It's by far the quickest responding machine I've ever owned. So, I needed a new machine, because my Dell isn't doing well, and I saved up and bought the iMac. Whereas the price of Macs always kept me away from buying, I've always known from my Mac-head friends that they last longer, perform better, and are composed of higher quality parts. I've had plenty of experience using them, but at home I've used Windows and Linux for a long time. I'd also put Crucial and OWC in the tried and true category, but I've never seen a time when their prices were lower enough for me to not spend my time and $$ with RamJet.This is the first Mac I've ever owned myself. I'm more value sensitive than price sensitive but RamJet is generally very competitive on price as well. It eventually got sorted, but I'll never get back the time and effort to clear up their mistakes on that one order.Дo your homework on what happens if you need support down the road and know the time periods for returns / warranty / support if you care.

I do regret buying from one of the 'cheapest' vendors linked above when the product they sold didn't work and they charged me incorrectly for the return / exchange.
